Ambitious Bio
Ambitious Bio builds biological data infrastructure for AI. Its product is Corpus, a whole-body dataset for biological AI: tissue-level molecular profiles, matched across organs within each donor and linked to clinical history, generated prospectively under a single protocol and licensed to teams training the next generation of biological models. Ambitious Bio was founded in 2024 and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Founder and chief executive officer
Elizabeth Hudson
Elizabeth Hudson is the founder and chief executive officer of Ambitious Bio, maker of Corpus, a whole-body dataset for biological AI. A neuroscientist and data engineer by training, she holds a B.S. in cognitive science and neuroscience from Yale University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Geneva, where her thesis used machine learning to decode patterns of brain activity from fMRI and EEG data. Before founding Ambitious Bio she was Vice President of Data Engineering, Design and Algorithms at Symbotic, an industrial robotics company, where she built its R&D department and the streaming data platform behind its warehouse automation systems. She was also Chief Technology Officer of Omega Funds, a Boston biotech venture firm. She serves as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve and is in her second term on the Cambridge School Committee. From 2019 to 2025 she sat on the advisory board of the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
